MagTek, a leading manufacturer of magnetic stripe/Smart-Card readers and encoders, and check readers and imaging systems is searching for an experienced Inspector 2. 

MAJOR FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIESUnder limited supervision inspects incoming raw materials, in-process products, mechanical aspects of finished products, and audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with the company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Inspect raw materials or finished products according to Quality Plans and audit processes according to pre-arranged audit plans. Perform First Articles inspection for complex and precise parts by using Optical CMM and all other kind of inspection equipment and instruments. Measure track location of our products. Generate non-conforming material reports and F/A reports. Inspect all bare and assembled boards according to IPC-610 and IPC-600 standards. Test products such as magnetic heads, IC, LED etc. Calibrate gauges and maintain the records.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:3 years experience in inspecting mechanical and electronic components. Certified mechanical inspector (preferred). Knowledge of ISO-9000 requirements and trained as Internal Auditor. Ability to perform gage R&R analysis. Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Basic computer skills, math skills, and knowledge of function of electronic components required. Proficient in operating the optical Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) with PCDIMAS software.
