Quality / Reliability Engineer: LED Systems

As a key member of the Manufacturing Services team, this position will be responsible for all aspects of LED systems product and business process quality including Product Reliability, Process Quality, and UL. In addition this position requires ensuring adherence to overall objectives of OSRAM SYLVANIA quality guidelines.

Job Requirements:

1. Lead all Product and Business Process Quality efforts within the LED systems division
2. Strong Engineering skills with a working knowledge of Quality issues
3. Perform root cause analysis of customer RMA’s
4. Plan and implement product reliability testing for all new LS products
5. Coordinate & Approve Qualification of outsourced products
6. Prepare, present and follow through with UL submission and approvals for all new products
7. Ability to effectively present results of analysis to R&D Engineers, Customers and Marketing
8. Good knowledge of MIL standards for Reliability and quality evaluations
Bachelors in Engineering with at least 3-5 years Quality / Reliability experience in LED / Optoelectronics / electronics manufacturing / Quality engineering in a electronics related business
