Job Description:

 

This position is responsible for providing technical support to Peregrine’s business development for RFIC products targeted towards the commercial RFIC industry.  The candidate will report to Product Marketing and support design, product launch and platform design activities.  The candidate will also be required to publish white papers, application notes and marcom activities.  In this customer support role, the candidate will be required to make advanced measurements in an RF laboratory on all radio chain components.  This position requires strong communication and organizational skills.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

BS required, MS preferred in Electrical Engineering.  Minimum of 5 years related experience in RF or mixed-signal high-speed ASIC products.

 

The following traits are highly valued:Comprehensive experience with all RF building blocks including LNA’s, mixers, synthesizers, filters, amplifiers, power amplifiers, power control, switches and ADC’sThorough understanding of commercial wireless standards including GSM, CDMA, 3G cellular and 802.11a/b/g/nExtensive knowledge of RF measurement techniques including S-parameters, noise figure, IP3, power compression, ACPR and standard specific requirementsCATV and GPS experience valuedAbility to analyze customer system architecture and identify opportunity for Peregrine’s technologyStrong technical writing skills for datasheets and application notesStrong lab test background including design and implementation of experiments C programming skills

 

Must be a self-starter, be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent problem solving skills.
