RF Engineer

TransCore, a subsidiary of Roper Industries, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking an RF Engineer to join our Engineering team in Albuquerque, NM. 

 

Position Summary:

 

The RF Engineer is directly involved with the design of RF/Microwave microstrip, stripline and lumped element circuits, design of discrete oscillators (both crystal and voltage controlled), amplifiers, mixers, power amplifiers, frequency synthesizers and phase lock loops.

 

The circuits this professional designs will be used to read RFID signals for Intelligent Transportation Systems. 

 

The RF Engineer will perform board level designs using Microwave CAD simulation tools and test/integrate these designs with industry standard lab equipment.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required at minimum.A minimum of 5 years experience in Microwave and RF frequency board design is required.Previous experience with Microwave CAD simulation tools.Experience with test equipment, specifically oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.RFID design experience is beneficial.Simulation experience with ADS is also desired.Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills (in English) of  development specifications and procedures.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical requirements and design documents written in English.  Understanding of statistics and statistical methods for analyzing test data and communication systems.
