RF Test Technician

 

Work closely with engineers and designers for the development, qualification and production testing of RF modules and Top Level Communications assemblies.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical drawings. 

 

Must be willing to work off-shift as necessary. Occasional overtime (night/weekend) work is expected. 

*Familiar with basic Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

*Good verbal and written communications skills are necessary.

*Must be adaptable and able to multi-task.

*Must be able to read and follow test procedures.

*Must be able to assist with movement and setup of test equipment.

*Must be able to use basic RF/electronic test equipment.

 

Tasks include:

*Buildup and assembly of test racks for the testing of RF Products. 

*Following detailed procedures and work instructions. 

*Close attention to detail and precision are imperative. 

*RF S-parameter performance optimization via DC biasing and RF tuning using Indium and Gold foil. 

*Work with engineers and quality assurance to perform functional testing and checkout of equipment. 

*Execute troubleshooting instructions in order to investigate and resolve test anomalies.
