ParkerVision, incorporated in 1989, principally operates in the United States with offices in Jacksonville and Lake Mary, Florida.

 

The Position

ParkerVision has several immediate openings for experienced IC Designers to join our team and focus on RF and mixed-signal integrated circuit design.  Both positions will be based at our Lake Mary, Florida design center, and will be expected to adher to and promote ParkerVision’s values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team member and support the continued growth of the company.

 

Responsibilities include:

·  RF and Mixed-signal integrated circuit design.

·  Planning, design, simulation, physical layout, verification, and production ramp support of highly integrated, high volume products for wireless systems.

·  Effectively plan and execute RF and analog circuit and IC designs. 

·  Other collateral duties as required.

 

Qualifications Include:

·  A thorough understanding of impacts and interdependencies of other elements in the RF system is critical to success.

·  BSEE, MSEE preferred, with 5+ years relative experience; 10+ years experience a plus. 

·  Experience with Cadence Custom IC design flow a must.

·  Agilent ADS and OrCad/PSpice PWB design desirable.

·  Some experience in power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, baseband amplifiers and filters, frequency synthesizers utilized in battery operated, mobile communication devices is desired.

·  Strong team leadership and membership skills are vital, as is the ability to understand market driving requirements and how they impact the success of ParkerVision circuit design.

·  The ability and willingness to mentor other engineers in areas of expertise is expected. Strong circuit design and simulation skills, including Cadence Spectre is necessary. 

·  Experience with Agilent ADS and/or OrCad/PSpice are desired.

·  Good written and verbal communication skills. 

·  The ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize issues and tasks. 

·  Maximize time efficiently to achieve business goals and objectives.

·  Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly changing environment. 

·  Some local travel (approximately 2 hours or less) will be required, including overnight stays.

·  Self-directed, self-motivated.

·  Able to work in cross-functional team environment and as a sole contributor.
