This position is a member of the technical staff reporting into Engineering.  The responsibilities will include wireless testing, documentation and regulatory consulting services for Elliott's clients focused around wireless technologies such as RFID, 802.11a/b/g/n, Blue tooth and WMAX.

 

Responsibilities:

  Provide wireless testing, documentation and regulatory consulting services for Elliott's clients focused around wireless technologies such as RFID, 802.11a/b/g/n, Blue tooth and WMAX Develop project test plans Development of wireless training materials and training seminars (for technical and non-technical staff). Pre-review of TCB submittals Provide engineering support to Sales/Project Management Participation with radio regulatory organizations and committees/societies 

Requirements: BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Science discipline plus 2 years wireless experience Experience with FCC, Industry Canada, and Radio Telecommunication and Terminal Equipment (R&TTE) Directive radio standards Experience with FCC and Industry Canada wireless submittals to TCB's a plus Excellent communication skills  Excellent computer skills, Excel macros and Lab view programming a plus Excellent interpersonal skills Strong problem solving / troubleshooting skills  An understanding of compliance lab dynamics
