Receptionist

Receptionist

 

Park Place International is the leading post warranty information technology services provider in North America.  We provide information technology hardware maintenance service agreements, remedial software support, and professional services.

We are looking for an outgoing, energetic individual  with a great attitude to provide that first impression of our company.

 

You will provide general office support with a variety of activities and related tasks.  The primary responsibilities of this position are answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies, as well as administrative duties.

 

You will be responsible for having the switchboard open and operating promptly at the beginning of the work day, throughout the day until the close of business at the end of the day.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Ø Professionally administer all incoming calls

Ø Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner

Ø Ensure phone calls are redirected accordingly

Ø Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information in a clear and concise manner

Ø Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given assignments

Ø Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as required or needed

Ø Receive, sort and forward incoming mail.  Maintain postage meter

Ø Responsible for the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies

Ø Make travel arrangements when needed

Ø Schedule meetings and conference calls as requested, and manage reservations for Conference Rooms

Ø Provide other related duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating

Ø Support other departments as requested (e.g., collate/sort mass mailings, as well as other associated administrative duties)

 

Qualification/Requirements:

 

ØExcellent phone etiquette

ØExcellent verbal/written communication skills

ØPunctual

ØAble to work with minimal supervision

ØShould be customer service driven

ØKnowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

ØAble to multi-task

Ø Attention to detail

 

Education/Training/Experience:Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree  preferredMinimum 2-4 years of receptionist  and customer service experience

 

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
