At Panasonic, our success depends on every single employee?s contributions ?because the more we grow as individuals, the more we grow as a company.Currently we have an opening for Central-Region Sales Manager North America sales to support our Panasonic Factory Solutions Company in Buffalo Grove, IL.Basic Function:The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales team and XCS (Extreme Customer Satisfaction) for Central Region North American customer accounts. Duties and Responsibilities:Business Development: Identify potential customers. Take a leadership role in developing new accounts. Support sales efforts in other groups by optimizing EAG total revenue. Maintain existing business:Ensure continuing parts and service sales by assessing competitive trends and developing marketing strategies to combat sales declines.Management: Will be responsible for managing staff to include; supervision, counseling, performance standards and review, discipline, and employee training and development.Planning and Forecasting: The Regional Sales Manager will be Responsible for developing annual and long-range business plans and implementing weekly sales forecasts. Technical Knowledge: Must ensure staff members maintain and upgrade product knowledge of existing and future Panasonic products to facilitate service and parts sales. Must also utilize customer contacts to facilitate perceived technology gaps with competitors and align business according to industry trends.Factory liaison: Must establish and maintain strong relationships with factories to ensure service and parts personnel are constantly upgraded and aware of Activities with machines and parts. Through this process will ensure personnel are trained and knowledgeable of machine and parts issues.Product Strategy and Marketing: Develops the strategic product business plans to successfully meet company sales and profitability goals.Basic Qualifications:? 10 years of proven account/sales management and sales team management experience.? Proven ability to supervise and maximize performance of sales staff in a multi-channel environment.? Ability to travel throughout the US and occasionally to Asia and Japan as needed.? Strong interpersonal relationship building skills are essential in this role as well as commensurate experience working in a Senior level sales management position with a Global Company.?Strong oral and written communications skills are essential in this role.
