This global presence provides design and engineering solutions that are combined with core electronics manufacturing and logistics services, and vertically integrated with components technologies, to optimize customer operations by lowering costs and reducing time to market.    Purpose: The Renewal Energy Systems Engineer will provide market analysis on renewal energy by developing and preparing studies of external factors and trends as well as worldwide competition to evaluate possible impacts on Flextronics. Principle Accountibilities: The Renewal Energy System Engineer, will:   Provide renewable energy market technology analysis. Possess comprehensive knowledge of energy field, with emphasis on renewable energy, including technologies, policies, and markets. Support sales efforts by providing the required information about impacts to energy usage and utility costs. Interact with existing and prospective vendors of major equipment, such as inverters, transformers, switchgear, electrical cable, etc. Coordinate with engineering teams within Flextronics and Flextronics’ customers to review designs and stay updated of new designs and technology updates and releases related to renewable energy, with Solar (Photovoltaic) energy/power mgmt system requirement focus. Candidates must be highly organized and capable of working on multiple renewable and/or solar energy projects. Knowledge of electrical design, materials and methods of installation, especially in power generation, is a plus.     BS Engineering, MBA preferred.  5-7 years of solar or photovoltaic experience with electrical power systems is required, with 2+ years in similar senior marketing role Must be highly organized and capable of working on multiple projects. Working familiarity with relevant electrical IEC regulations. Strong understanding of photovoltaic technologies, manufacturers, and suppliers.
