SCM Analyst

We endeavor to become a "Customer Value Creation Company" that provides safety, security, comfort and convenience in line with our visions of contributing to a ubiquitous networking society and coexisting with the global environment.Currently Panasonic Corporation of North America has an opening for a full time SCM Analyst at the headquarters located in Secaucus, NJ.Basic Function:Gathers and analyzes user requirements to determine process and/or IT toolset needs to support the business. Prepares ROI analysis for requests inclusive of expected improvements and metrics.Participates in enhancement or new projects to develop and implement new processes and tools across all PNA business units.Develops and delivers training to end user community as needed.Accountabilities:Create detailed process design and solution recommendations based on user requirements, corporate goals for standards, and cost/benefit analysis.Prepare ROI analysis showing quantifiable improvements, cost analysis, and metrics in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.Monitor process adherence and performance. Identify and report on gaps between current processes and best practices. Work with stakeholders to facilitate process issue resolution and recommend improvements.Provide inputs to development of security and job roles.Maintain detailed process flows and other procedural and reference documentation as needed.Provide user support for selected processes and transactional functions.Validate design by performing stakeholder walkthroughs or demonstrations of design and development.Participate in company projects as core team and/or SME inclusive of blueprint, testing, training and other activities as needed.Scope and Competency:ManagementAbility to facilitate, negotiate, and influence resources Ability to manage deadlinesCommunicationsMust be able to function as a facilitator and communicate to all levels of the organizationProblem Solving & Know HowTeam PlayerHigh level of creativity and complexity to research and recommend solutions based on analytical and business knowledgeCollege Degree PreferredPrior functional business experience (>5 years)Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of teamAbility to interface with multiple levels of management and obtain agreement from those outside of direct teamHigh level of computer proficiencyIntermediate Windows, Excel, Word, PowerpointBasic Access or other database preferredKnowledge of SAP, BW, & APO preferredStrong communication and presentation skills requiredMinimal travel requiredPrior participation in formal projects preferredAt Panasonic we offer competitive salaries and an excellent benefits package.
