You’re encouraged to join a dynamic and trend-setting team by applying today.What would you be doing?As our client’s Software Configuration Engineer, you would serve as the company’s key developer for SCM and Build Engineering across multiple software environments. The client is unable to sponsor visas at this time. This is a direct hire, not a contract.Your responsibilities would include: Supporting the Change/Release/Build Management and Administration process Compiling code and maintaining development and test code baselines Designing, developing and maintaining build/deployment applications and engines as needed Providing support during Release and Deployment stages as neededYour talent belongs here.We’re looking for a seasoned SCM developer with experience in multiple environments to join a successful and rapidly growing team. Here are a few things we’re seeking in the ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree in related field is required 3 years experience implementing SCM processes and tools in both web-based and client server environments 3 years experience creating and customizing build automations tools in a mixed UNIX/Windows environment 3 years experience customizing SCM tools to reflect a process workflow - creating and maintaining User exits and triggers, user roles and a notification mechanism Hands-on experience with various SCM tools (i.e. Telelogic Synergy/CM, StarTeam, PVCS-Dimensions, MKS IM & SI ClearCase/ClearQuest/UCM, Maven, Cruise Control, Anthill, etc…) 3 years experience with Unix Shell (Korn/Bourne), Ant, Perl scripting languages Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with technical project leas, developers, and QA team members Mentor/train staff members as neededWhat’s so great about this job, anyway?Step into this role and you’re joining a company committed to providing a fun and challenging work environment.
