SEA_Business Development Manager - IT (IL, MO, IA, NE and KS)
Position Summary
This position will cover regions in the indicated states, (IL, MO, IA, NE and KS). Will manage and develop Fortune 1000 and key corporate end user customers for Samsung ITD products by identifying, penetrating and creating a demand for Samsung IT related products in a specific geographic territory. This includes developing and planning account strategies and activities in relationship to; selecting target accounts, identifying buyer influences, overcoming objections, introducing new products, making sales presentations and negotiating pricing. Integral to this role is the ability to interact with distribution, channel partners and Samsung distribution and reseller managers for the ultimate fulfillment of Samsung hardware to the end customer. The overall goal is to drive a greater awareness and acceptance of Samsung’s product portfolio into F1000 and key corporate end users and to provide customer and competitor feedback to management
Common Essential Duties & Resp.
• Responsible for creating and delivering compelling sales presentations by leveraging exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• Develop partnership between the company and accounts through the coordination of sales, contracts, technical support teams, and internal sales on specific accounts
• Will perform long range planning to increase account penetration, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term results and achievement of assigned quota.
• Rollup all activity and provide assessment of quarterly projections of revenue and units on a weekly basis.
• Accountable for assigned geographic territory, managing key corporate end user customers on a multi-divisional basis
•
Identify, penetrate, and create demand for Samsung’s IT related products in assigned territory
• Work independently and/or travel 75% of the time

• 17” – 30” Desktop Displays
• 32” – 46” Large LCD Format Displays
• 42” – 63” Plasma Display Product
• Ultra Mobile PC
Necessary Skills / Attributes
- BS Degree preferred or equivalent years experience
- 5-10 years IT outside sales display experience with a manufacture or customer end user sales experience a must!
- Proven selling ability in Fortune 1000 accounts
- Must possess a strong knowledge of industry products and competitors sales tactics
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel within assigned geographic territory
