Position Summary




The position of Payroll Administrator exists to support all payroll related functions for Samsung Electronics America, Inc.




Common Essential Duties & Resp.




• Assist the Payroll Manager with daily payroll activities
• Assist with maintaining HRIS/Payroll/E-Time system for 11 locations -- enters new hires and master file changes into ADP system. (Includes address, salary changes, Job titles, salary history, benefit deductions, Tax information and direct deposit bank setup.)
• Maintains production records, timesheets, and payroll system.
• Responsible for computing, withholding, and deductions associated with net earnings
• Inputs data from time sheets, production records, or individual time cards to computerized payroll system.
• Responsible for balancing payroll runs, producing federal, state and local tax payments, and answering employee questions and troubleshooting issues.
• International payroll – process international payroll, bi-weekly, multi-location and international payroll
• Handles employee questions regarding pay
• Other special projects as deemed appropriate for changing business requirements
• Special projects related to updating and maintaining payroll
• This position reports to the Payroll manager and works closely with Human Resources




Necessary Skills / Attributes




• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-5 years payroll processing experience preferred
• Experience processing payroll for multiple locations preferred
• ADP Payroll Systems experience preferred
• Working experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to be highly organized and prioritize
• Accountability to deadlines
