SEA_Printer Channel Sales Manager - Distribution

Position Summary




This position will be responsible for managing SAMSUNG's strategic business partners within the Distribution and Direct Market Resellers (DMR's) channel. Candidate will develop and execute sales strategies to attain the identified revenue and market share objectives specific to printer hardware and consumables. Primary goal of managing executive relationships to new levels of interaction as well as playing the role of SAMSUNG team lead to oversee the multitude of ongoing initiatives, programs and promotions. Added responsibility includes managing and scheduling regular QBR's with Samsung executive teams to assist in review of partner performance. This individual will also work with connecting the DMR account and the SAMSUNG field based territory teams to identify and further develop printer opportunities.




Common Essential Duties & Resp.




• Manage DMR/Disti business partners as needed to achieve corporate sales and market share objectives.

• Communicate special promotions, incentive programs, new pricing, corporate strategy and other key points through all levels of resellers including Executive Management, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Purchasing and Technical staffs.

• Create and maintain strong business relationships with all levels of sales, marketing, operations, and all other aspects in assigned accounts, and drive consistent quarterly business reviews

• Provide Samsung management with up to date information and concerns that impact the ability to effectively sell and support our products in the channel.

• Provide forecasts; sell through data, competitive updates, channel trends and competitive strategies in order for Samsung to maintain competitive position.

• Review inventory levels, sell through and run rates in order to maintain healthy inventory positions.

• Listen to customer issues, concerns and recommendations

• Give sales presentations by providing product information and expertise




Necessary Skills / Attributes




• BA/BS Degree Required
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Commercial Channel (DMR or Disti specific)
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management
• Ability to perform sales and product training
• Strong product knowledge and competitive expertise
• Ability to convey needs, wants and interests of DMR/Disti partner to drive execution strategies
• Microsoft Office Skills and SAP experience a must
• Ability to travel when role requires
