SEA_Territory Sales Manager - Printer Resellers (North Carolina)

Position Summary




This position will call on indirect Value Added Resellers (VARS) in a multiple state territory surrounding the North Carolina area with the purpose of promoting Samsung Office Automation Products, including Mono and Color Laser Printers and Multifunction Products. Position will develop, solicit, close new partners, generate sales and handle customer inquiries in order to maintain and grow relationships with existing partners within the territory. Working along with the Samsung Reseller Sales Manager and Insides Sales, this individual will be the Samsung face forward and subject matter expert to our indirect VAR’s on all issues printer related. Further responsibilities include driving Samsung Printer Products into the SMB and Enterprise space within your assigned territory by making end user sales calls to Medium Sized businesses both with and without Reseller Partners and lastly develop a names selection of enterprise accounts for increases sales.




Common Essential Duties & Resp.




- Responsible for creating and delivering compelling sales presentations by leveraging exemplary written and verbal communication skills

- Promote Samsung Office Automation Products and Marketing Programs with Indirect VARS Channels

- Develop new partners through cold calling and networking

- Maintain on-going relationships with current partners in the territory

- Collect and provide market data on competitor’s activity, products, price/programs

- Work with Territory Sales managers to provide weekly reports and forecasts, as well as partner feedback.

- Communicate promotions, pricing, corporate strategy, and key information to our channel partners at all levels




Necessary Skills / Attributes




- BS Degree preferred or equivalent years experience
- Minimum of 5 years of IT and/or printer solutions sales experience calling on Value Added Resellers (VARS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Must possess a strong knowledge of industry products and competitors sales tactics
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel within assigned geographic territory
- SAP experience a plus
