Newark is looking for a highly motivated SEO/Web Marketing Analyst who will have a high knowledge of search engine marketing (PPC, CPM model). This role will undertake many of the technical aspects of search engine marketing and utilize web analytics data in order to optimize the search engine marketing campaigns for Newark. This individual will be responsible for evaluating and applying toolsets for search engine marketing, creating web metrics. This role will perform PPC, CPM model advertising, including analysis of these campaigns, user behavior, conversion analysis and sales funnel as well as measuring other brand awareness activities.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with ? Manager? to develop Pay-per-Click strategies through relevant search engines Paid Search campaign management (Google Adwords, Yahoo, etc.) Develop keyword lists and launch keyword buys Continually manage & optimize bids, keywords, ads to obtain ROI targets Actively test and analyze keywords, copy, landing pages and positioning to increase ROI and drive volume. Monitor and analyze ranking and traffic reports Develop and present concise results documents highlighting the relevant learning gained and recommendations for future campaigns Develop best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on the web site(s) as well as general tracking set-up and data interpretation. Develop automated reports to provide complete historical detail from arrival on site to inquiry submission, and illustrates which web tools/content are most effective for driving inquiries. Analyze metrics related to identity, frequency and use of the properties Conduct ad-hoc traffic analysis of key areas of the site. Develop and evolve monthly web traffic reports. Channel implicit and explicit user feedback into actionable recommendations for optimal user experience. Assist in defining key metrics for product success and developing business cases to provide financial justification for new service offerings. Assist with identifying new product opportunities through data interpretation. Leverage data as available to provide un-biased input to decisions made regarding potential improvement to the site(s).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years experience using website analytics tools (e.g. Omniture, Coremetrics, WebTrends, Google Analytics, etc.) on high profile properties for traffic, pathing, conversion, and campaign effectiveness analysis Minimum of 3 years experience with search related toolsets Proficient in MS Excel, Access; SQL / database development experience a plus Minimum of 3 years experience with paid campaigns (PPC) and some SEO experience required Understanding of web-based application environments. Basic understanding of information architecture Ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on proper research Experience with A/B and multivariate testing Solid written and verbal communication Strong understanding of new technologies. Detailed and process/operational oriented. Highly innovative, with experience in writing, producing and editing new media campaigns. Demonstrated skill set of managing and influencing interdepartmental dependencies and training Ability to provide technical and financial analysis Ability to adapt to a fast changing environment and multitasking assignments. Possess an understanding of web usability and user-centered design. Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation. Must be a team player and have a positive, customer service attitude. Bachelor?s degree
