SPICE Modeling Engineer, Staff - BiCMOS

The Bipolar SPICE Modeling Group has an opening for an experienced engineer in bipolar modeling, including on-wafer measurements and extractions using advanced model formulations (VBIC, HICUM, MEXTRAM).

As a Staff Device Engineer, the primary job responsibilities include: SPICE Model parameter extraction, device and subcircuit level characterization for Analog/Bipolar/RF BiCMOS technologies, and device/subcircuit level simulation in the design environment. The engineer will interface and collaborate with many groups including process development, CAD, and design.

The Staff Device Engineer will also contribute to key bipolar methodology areas such as: modeling test structure design, new model formulation evaluation/enhancement, geometric scaling for BJTs, automation, and sub-circuit level model validation.

Requirements:
MS or PHD in EE, Physics or Relevant Area. 4-7 years experience in SPICE modeling or related area. Strong device physics, simulation, and measurement background are required. Candidate should have strong communication skills and excel in a team oriented environment.
