SSI_Strategic Memory Marketing Manager

Position Summary


Samsung Semiconductor is currently searching for a highly motivated person to join the memory organization as a Memory Product Marketing Manager responsible for strategic marketing for the DRAM and NAND product lines.

Common Essential Duties & Resp.


- Define Samsung’s strategic Memory objectives including DRAM and NAND
- Develop Samsung Memory business strategy including how to position existing and future product based on influencing market factors
- Support how future strategies will contribute to the company’s overall strategic objectives based on market analysis of industry, technology trends, and the voice of the customer
- Recommend new DRAM and NAND product opportunities for existing and new technology. Plan may include programs to gain new market share from the competitor
-Communicate regularly with the customer as a Memory expert evangelizing product features and benefits to increase future sales
- Communicate regularly with Samsung’s Korean based headquarters
- Travel to customer sites
- Public Speaking opportunities


Background/Experience


- BA/BS degree required. MBA Highly preferred
- 3 years experience in semiconductor industry required.
- 5 years experience in marketing/sales required.
- Successful track record of developing and implementing strategies and tactics supported by measurable revenue increases
- Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
- ~ 25% travel required (internal and domestic)
