SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER AND ERP SYSTEMS MANAGER

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is the world's leading independent manufacturer of high voltage dc power supplies, x-ray generators and Monoblock® x-ray sources. Spellman High Voltage designs and manufactures custom and standard high voltage dc power supplies ranging from 120mW to 150kW with voltages from 250V to 500kV. Management Information Systems Programmer

 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience developing and supporting custom applications and web development. This role requires development experience with Java, .Net, SQL, ASP.Net, good analytics and debugging skills, experience with industry accepted best practices including source code control, bug tracking, configuration and build management, and unit testing. The candidate will develop and maintain code, create and maintain custom reports, create and support custom web applications, work closely with end users to gather requirements, interface programs with ERP, CRM, and custom QA systems.

 

The candidate must be able to handle project management and reporting, have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with end users and vendors, be service oriented and willing to work with people to solve complex business problems and support end users. Also, the candidate must be willing to learn new environments, systems, languages, and databases.

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, MSCS preferred. Other experience that would be useful in this position, but not required, include: C++, C#, SQL stored procedures, DBA experience, Oracle and MS SQL, Cognos reports, Crystal Reports, Unix or Linux, Microsoft CRM, experience with web-based content management, SharePoint, and experience with MS SQL Reporting.
