Position: Sales Manager: Electronic Controls Specialist

 

General Description:  Reports to Director of Sales: Mobile Equipment Division

 

The primary responsibilities and the overall goal of this position are to develop and grow sales of Electronic Control products in the Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) market.  Products include embedded Electronic Control Units (ECU/PLC), camera vision and dash mount electronic gauge/data control systems specifically designed for the off-highway mobile equipment markets.  Products and services address the entire market for off-highway vehicles, such as agricultural, construction machinery, fork lifts, mobile cranes, and mining equipment.

 

Target customers are equipment manufactures in the mining, construction, utility and mobile lifting industries.

 

Candidates possess working knowledge of:


-Embedded electro hydraulic I/O control system architecture on mobile equipment

-Controller Area Network or CAN Bus systems: CAN Open, J1939, IQan…

-Comprehension of programming environments such as C, CodeSys and MATLAB/Simulink

-Understanding of on/off highway mobile equipment safety standards; ANSI, Safety Integrity Levels (SIL)  

-Electro hydraulic valve control

-Use of electronic sensor networks interface on mobile equipment

-Use of electronic information systems such as graphic displays and camera systems on mobile equipment

-Vehicle wiring harness requirements


Qualifications:
-5+ years of direct OEM sales of electro hydraulic devices in the mobile equipment markets

-Willingness to travel domestically up to 60%

-Ability to create, implement and manage sales goals, plans and growth programs

-Ability to work independently while ensuring effective use of time
-Professional presentation and organizational skills

-Creative thinker

-Working in a team environment

-Bachelors degree; electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience

 

The right candidate will drive the sales of specific products in the mobile, hydraulic equipment market and be integral in increasing visibility and market presence.  A specific focus will be made on sales to Original Equipment Manufactures.

 

Requirements:  Experience in mobile hydraulic/construction equipment market.
