EDUCATION

·  AA degree or equivalent

·  MRP Planning Experience required

·  APICS Certification in Planning Scheduling desired

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

·  5-7 years experience in production control.

·  Working knowledge of Office Suite

·  SAP experience preferred

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Issue Label orders to production filling.

·  Monitor production inventories.

·  Create and close process orders in SAP managing recipes within the process order

·  Oversee floor stock inventory management.

·  Create and maintain Bills of Material.

·  Manage –INT and –RWK inventories.

·  Manage ECN implementations

·  Oversee material data input into label database

·  Maintain SAP master data for label printing

·  Report production costs (scrap, tank wash, etc) monthly

·  Proactively identify and resolve production related issues.

·  Coordinate campaign planning with production planner/scheduler

·  Schedule production of master batches.

·  Interface with production on shortage issues, oversee and manage shortage information working with supply management

·  Strive for real-time processing of production activities.

·  Ad-hoc analysis as required

·  Make suggestions to management for improving this position, or improving work processes.

·  Work safely by observing safety rules, policies and procedures. 

·  Identify unsafe conditions or actions to my supervisor

·  Other duties as may be assigned.
