EDUCATION

·  Extensive knowledge in lithography or metrology

·  AA in material science, electron microscopy, engineering, chemistry, or related field is a plus.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

·  5+ years experience in semiconductor industry, lithography, or metrology related fields

·  Experience using most of major Photolithography metrology tools (low/high voltage SEM, Film thickness measurements tools, defect tools), exposure tools, and lithography tracks.

·  Basic understanding of the major components of photoresist.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Support the technical team on developing new resist products.  This includes formulation work, resist processing & characterization, along with data analysis and metrology.

·  Assist on team projects that involve product improvements, customer troubleshooting, and process optimization – including analyzing and plotting data, as well as preparing written projects.

·  Play a key role in supporting, operating, writing recipes, and maintaining critical equipment in the laboratory – such as CD SEM (HITACHI/KLA), x-section SEM, exposure tools (Nikon/Canon/ASML), lithography tracks (TEL/DNS), film thickness tools, etc.

·  The ability to train others on the operational functions of all above tool-sets.

·  Provide on-site assistance and customer site to support critical projects and customer needs.

·  Thorough understanding of all aspects of photolithography (both process and procedure)

·  Act as a resource for operational details of internal procedures, methods, and processes.  A team leader.

·  Make suggestions to management for improving this position, or improving work processes.

·  Work safely by observing safety rules, policies and procedures.  Identify unsafe conditions or actions to my supervisor.

·  Other duties as may be assigned.

·  Good computer and lab equipment skills - including software programs such as excel, word, PowerPoint, and quark express.
