Senior Demand Planner

Located in: Fremont, CA 94536 As a Senior Demand Planner at Lexar Media, Inc., a subsidiary of Micron Technology in Fremont, California, you will manage the WW forecast process and deliver demand plans that support customer requirements and optimize inventory investments. You will lead the Monthly Forecast meeting to communicate opportunities, risks and get final approval from leadership. In this position, you will report through Operations as part of the Business Planning team and will work closely with sales, regional channel managers, product marketing, WW operations and materials planning.  As the planning expert, you will help drive planning and forecast best practices and participate in leading a project to implement a new forecasting tool.Successful candidates for this position will have:  Highly motivated, able to work independently in a fast paced environment 4-6 years experience in forecasting and/or inventory management Experience in retail, retail planning or consumer electronics Excellent analytical and financial skills Advanced MS Excel and database knowledge (Cognos, SAP a plus) Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field Join Us!
