We are currently seeking a Senior Drafter/Design Engineer for a long term contract position with our client in southwestern Michigan. Job Description:Senior Drafter/Design Engineer who, under general supervision, provides component and small subsystem design concepts along with drafting support. Assists in preliminary layouts of complex assignments to define drawings and engineering information. Prepares engineering change documentation. Actively participates in project room testing, applies functional dimensioning and tolerancing, and performs tolerance analysis and validation. Independently manages assigned tasks to meet time constraints.  Required Skills:Senior Drafter/Design Engineer with:Experience in CAD drafting/designing Advanced Pro-E knowledge Ability to recommend creative and innovative ideas Effective methods to suggest and implement problem solving techniques and tools Effectively interact with team by communicating ideas clearly - both verbally and written A strong commitment to ensuring work is delivered on time Established ability to offer guidance and serve as a contributing lead player Outstanding communication and people skills
