Senior Electrical, Biomedical, Software and Mechanical Engineers & Project Engineers

Paragon Medsystems, a growing medical device developer and manufacturer in San Diego, is seeking seasoned, entrepreneurial EE's, ME's, SWE's, BME's and Project Engineers to take on challenging medical device and laboratory instrument development programs. Responsibilities include the conceptualization, design, development, testing and documentation of new products, as well as interfacing with clients, assisting in the preparation of project proposals, management of engineering personnel, interfacing with individuals in purchasing, quality and manufacturing, and project management including budget oversight.

Desired experience includes high-level project management along with at least 5-10 years of experience in product development, preferably with a concentration in medical applications. Must have been the principal design engineer or project engineer for multiple product development programs, with responsibility not only for the design aspects but also compliance testing (safety, EMC, environmental, etc.) and transfer to manufacturing.  BS in engineering or related field is a prerequisite. Working knowledge of MS Project and appropriate CAD tools or software development tools would be a plus.
