With a proven track record of leadership experience. Responsibilities will include specification, design, debug and delivery of Consumer Grade portable electronics, in the audio field. Familiarity with schematic capture, logic design, printed circuit board design, and optical/electrical signaling is required. Requires strong lab skills with hands on experience operating oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. The position also requires interfacing with numerous groups, hardware, software, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, and power supply engineers as well as outside vendors. Must be a self motivated team player with good oral and written communication skills. Should be an experienced design engineer, with a proven track record of delivering battery & powered consumer electronic devices. System, analog and digital design experience required. Positive thinking, creativity and teamwork are essential, should demonstrate a passion for technology, electronics and computing. Specific Responsibilities: To ensure Belkin quality standards are adhered to as part of the design Engage with technology suppliers Input into the definition of future products and platforms Architect, implement, debug, optimize and verify hardware platforms and products Work closely with ODM partners on product execution, manufacture & test Support the sustaining team Work with SW teams on device bring-up and development Work with the mechanical and industrial Design teams on integration Take responsibility for a broad range of areas and technologies, including digital, analog, power management, audio, battery charging, EMI, ESD, etc Be accountable for delivering on schedule and meeting the performance, feature-set and quality requirements for the project Be able to travel on occasion Support Company’s Affirmative Action initiatives, providing equal opportunity to employees and candidates.
