PURPOSE: The Senior Global Program Manager will have responsibility to lead a team of cross functional experts in the delivery of customer focused products and services, and will support the development of project, pricing and program strategies in order to deliver value to the business and its customers. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Senior Global Program Manager will: Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets. Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all commitments made relative to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics. Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction and have responsibility for accounts of various complexity. Be the key channel of communication for customers and act as escalation in the event of customer issues. Maintain current and develop additional business with customers. Monitor and track that project and program deliverables are met. Support production sites for projects, costs and other customer related matters through leadership and expertise. Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce. A Bachelor's degree, plus 6-10 years of progressive experience in/or Procurement, Program Management or Materials Management in a leadership position with proven strategic and tactical success. The ability to collaborate across boundaries, disciplines, cultures, and levels within the organization. Strategic, out-of-the-box thinking. The flexibility to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced/high stress, flexible environment. Superb analytical, consulting, and influencing skills, with a track record of identifying issues and formulating solutions. Program Management experience with new product introduction and sustaining ECO activity in the Computing Hardware Segment is needed. Program management activity around facility/capital equipment, IT infrastructure set-up, software development or construction is not applicable. Experience with International Business including team leadership from multiple sites desired. May be involved in managing project teams from (US, China, India, Brazil, Russia, Malaysia, Taiwan, etc…) Diverse background and capable of working interacting and facilitating communication with the following is a plus Manufacturing facilities Design Engineering teams Chassis and mechanical teams PCBA, motherboard and electrical teams Level 10 assembly including CTO/BTO, test diags and system set-up Packaging engineering Worldwide logistics, supply chain and materials teams Tooling and technology development teams Impeccable customer focus and service skills. Able to multi-task and handle multiple projects/assignments at once.
