The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to be part of a high-tech company based in the Silicon Valley with major locations in the Midwest,East Coast, and India. This position is responsible for supporting LSI's Engenio Storage Group. Primary responsibility includes driving organizational performance in a dynamic environment by developing, implementing and embedding innovative human resource and organization development programs and strategies. To Apply Visit LSI CorporationQualifications:Qualified candidates will have seven or more years of experience as an HR generalist or specialist with deep functional experience in results-oriented organization development, large scale change, performance management, managing HR projects, and employee relations. Additional experience in compensation, learning and development, or staffing is desired.Must be very comfortable & effective moving between hands-on tactical work and strategic project-based work, with a proven ability to develop strong, influential working relationships at all levels of the organization across multiple geographies. Must have a track record of applying organization development practices within the business, as well as a solid knowledge of HR best practices, leadership development, talent management, management methods, training development and delivery and compensation including base pay, bonus, stock options and awards, as well as federal and state labor laws. Candidates must be willing and able to get directly involved with their client organizations in order to coach managers and employees, resolve conflict, interpret policy, implement programs, and respond to inquiries and questions.Must be both autonomous - able to work independently in a virtual environment - and team-oriented. Must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace. Must be self-motivated, able both to work autonomously and collaboratively with peers and clients in multiple locations. Essential competencies include: Learning agility; customer focus; listening and communication; drive for results; innovation; persistence, process- management, and business acumen. Experience driving complex projects within aggressive deadlines is also required.Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, and HR Information Systems, preferably SAP, is strongly preferred. Education: Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred, with continued formal training in HR best practices.
