Senior IT Manager
Nonin Medical, Inc., based in Plymouth, MN, has been in the business of designing, manufacturing, and distributing high quality medical monitoring devices since 1986. We are currently searching for a talented Senior IT Manager to join our expanding IT team!
The Senior IT Manager will provide leadership and direction to a team of IT professionals in support of everyday business functionality and long term strategic business objectives. The individual in this role will continuously assess company-wide technology and implement solutions that effectively meet company business needs.
The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of IT management experience, solid technical knowledge, a customer-focused attitude, proven ability to lead a technical team and demonstrated success in managing large-scale technical projects/implementations.
Responsibilities:
· Lead, coach and develop IT personnel to create high-functioning, customer-oriented technology department to achieve optimal levels of performance.
· Collaborate with senior leaders and business function managers in the development of IT strategy to provide technical direction and execution of technology initiatives.
· Provide technical leadership, manage implementation and primary support for the companies enterprise business applications- (e.g. ERP, CRM, PLM, HRIS, Finance).
· Analyze and update current technology systems/structures to ensure operational effectiveness.
· Manage technology-related projects and determine scope, application and necessary resources.
· Ensure all implemented technical solutions are within projected scope, timeframe and budget.
· Work with senior management to develop and implement effective, highly available and accurate business reporting applications; business intelligence, data warehousing, financial analytics and executive dashboard solutions.
· Manages relationships with vendors and consultants for sales, service and support of all IS/IT systems and applications.
· Develop, implement and enforce all IT policies and procedures to ensure the protection of the companies IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the company.
· Perform annual operational planning, including IT capacity, personnel, capital and budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT/IS Services or other relevant discipline and 8+ years of experience
· Strong project management skills with the proven ability to successfully manage complex projects and deliver technical solutions within projected scope, timeframe and budget
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence and persuade across all levels of the organization as well as with vendors and customers, exercising a high degree of tact and diplomacy to accomplish objectives
· Solid presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of the organization
· Solid working knowledge of business systems, applications and processes (e.g. general finance/accounting, sales/marketing, supply chain, and related computer applications.)
· Strong application development and software implementation experience
· Working knowledge of IT infrastructure
· High degree of professionalism with a high standard of integrity & ethics
· Customer-focused and results-driven with the ability to display positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
· Strong technical skills and knowledge including experience with:Full MS Desktop Office Suite; Word, Access, PowerPoint MS based server platforms; Windows, Exchange, SQL Reporting; Crystal Reports, Business Objects, DashboardsIntranet, extranet, and web applications, MS SharePoint
· Flexible hours to ensure 24/7 service of core applications/systems
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the medical device and/or high tech manufacturing environment.
· Project management methodology, PMI Certification, MS Project
· Experience with business intelligence and data warehouse design, .NET
· Experience with financial applications
· Experience with e-commerce and web-based applications
