Senior Layout Designer

Located in: San Jose, CA 95101 As a Senior Layout Designer at Micron’s San Jose, California, you will debug problems, find effective solutions, and negotiate with the engineering staff. In this position, you will perform layout versus schematic and design rule checks. Additionally, you will work with the engineering staff to create any of the layout blocks from schematics and to verify the integrity of the data.Successful candidates for this position will have: A minimum of 8 years of experience in layout, or equivalent experience and education. A high level of technical competence. The ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situations. The ability to be a self-starter. Excellent, clear verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Strong debug and problem-solving skills, especially with LVS, DRC, and layout issues. xperience with VXL (preferred). The ability to develop and sustain leadership, mentoring, motivational, and team skills. High overall ratings on performance reviews. Demonstrated sustained performance in fundamental layout skills.
