Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, equipment, and materials. Analyzes and plans workforce utilization and space requirements; and designs layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confers with engineering design staff concerning product design, tooling, materials and equipment to ensure efficient production methods. Confers with vendors to determine product specifications. Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Working knowledge of software packages such as MRP/ERP, MS products and CAD. Five (5) plus years of related experience. B.S. Technical Degree.
