Senior Marketing Manager, High Speed Data Conversion Business Unit

Opportunity:

The High Speed Data Conversion Systems Business Unit contributes to National's strategy by providing IC solutions to its partners using its data conversion expertise as a starting point for further integration. The Manager of Marketing drives the marketing strategy for our Data Converter family of products. Responsibilities in particular include:



§ Identifying target markets and customers

§ Setting priorities for development of roadmaps and product definition

§ Driving product introduction activities, including product positioning, advertising, pricing strategy and portfolio management

§ Developing plans in coordination with regional sales and marketing for the promotion of existing products

§ Setting quarterly booking objectives, prepare forecasts, monitor results and take appropriate actions for the achievement of the quarterly objectives

§ Managing the activities of marketing department, which include - setting goals, establishing priorities, assigning tasks, monitoring and evaluating results of the marketing department in line with DCS overall revenue and profit objectives



Requirements:

The Marketing Manager should have a deep understanding of the semiconductor business dynamics and customers behaviors within various application markets (Medical, Consumer, Industrial and Telecommunication). Other skills requirements include:

The ability to translate identified market opportunity into clearly communicated goals, objectives, and strategies to direct reports as well as supporting organizations The ability to create short and long term business plans Cross-functional leadership skills to influence and gain support from other organizations within the company and product line Ability to work well under pressure Ability to drive key customer engagement Excellent presentation and communication skills



Minimum Requirements: 10 years with BS or equivalent; 9 years with MS or equivalent; 5+ years of experience must be in marketing or sales within the semiconductor industry. A demonstrated background in all phases of marketing and business development in the semiconductor industry is preferable. A track record in identifying and developing new business with experience in sales management is a plus.
