Job Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will utilize engineering skills and technical training to develop electrical designs, perform power system evaluation to document improvement opportunities and perform computer analyses of industrial, commerical, and institutional electric power systems. Computer analysis includes building of electrical system single-lines utilizing AutoCAD and SKM software, performing short-circuit, time-current coordination, load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, and arc flash analyses in SKM. Candidate will also evaluate analysis results and prepare written report of findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities. Engineering design involves site investigation and development of plans and specifications. Power system evaluations are for the purpose of improving the reliability and cost of the power system. Candidate will have the demonstrated aptitude for working successfully on project teams with oral and written communications skills. BSEE and EIT required. PE preferred.
