Senior Process Engineer (Replication)

The Senior Process Engineer for Replication will develop and refine state –of-the-art processes for next generation high-tech products.  Job functions include investigation of innovative manufacturing methods for product development, process documentation and training.  The candidate will work with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure that processes are optimum for new product technology transfer.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelors Degree in Technical Field such as Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Physics; Masters Degree preferred.

· A minimum of 6 years experience with process development in the semiconductor or optical industries, including specific experience in polymer replication or micro-molding of optical components

o  The desired candidate will have a basic understanding of optical systems

o  Working knowledge of optical polymer materials and proficiency in the use of data analysis tools

o  Experience with process scale-up and successful transfer into manufacturing.

 

SKILLS

· Analytical, organized and detail oriented.

· Ability to initiate and manage technical projects.

· Must be a self-starter and demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills

· Must demonstrate broad technical aptitude.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Candidate will perform duties in various clean room environments, with appropriate gowning protocols.  Some domestic and international travel (
