Senior Quality Engineer

TransCore, a subsidiary of Roper Industries, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a full-time Senior Quality Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team in Albuquerque, NM. 

 

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for Supplier Quality activities including: corrective actions, problem reporting, scorecards, visitations, supplier auditing, and containment.  This professional supervises the metrology, receiving inspection, ship-to-stock initiatives and calibration activities.  The Snr. Quality Engineer will also supervise the RMA (return material) activities, warranty cost calculations, field bulletins and monitoring/reporting of RMA repair statuses.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 Strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving skillsExcellent communications skills – verbal, written and presentationDemonstrated leadership and managerial skillsExperience in a similar role dedicated to supplier quality and RMA oversightMRP software proficiency and strong database skillsTransportation services industry knowledge desireableBachelor’s degree in a Business or related Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical or Quality Assurance)
