We are a growing company and are currently seeking to develop a formal quality team. Our new quality manager will strategies, develop and implement our company-wide quality program.  Use your BS degree and minimum of 5 years experiencein Quality Systems Management plus your understanding of key quality programs to open new doors for your career. You must have a documented, proven history of building and sustaining a quality environment by promoting continuous improvement methods and troubleshooting and resolving issues.  Show us your understanding of statistical process control and risk management investigations. Bring your superb leadership skills, ability to work with multiple teams, and ability to influence others for best results to make you an exceptional addition to our team.


 

Supplier quality component -- As a piece of the overall quality system, this new manager will specifically develop, coordinate, and maintain a more formalized supplier quality program to ensure receipt of quality components using established standards and requirements that meet the Company's expectations and objectives. You will facilitate supplier continuous improvement and total customer satisfaction, including firsthand supplier visits and overseeing staff making vendor visits.
Responsibilities:Coordinate company-wide quality program between departments. Take an active role on quality assurance teams within the organization. Maintain a working knowledge of quality tools and industry standards. Manage vendor quality program. Work with purchasing and engineering to source component and assembly vendors. Periodically evaluate/visit Asian & domestic PCB and component vendors. Manage incoming inspection program. Work with Engineering to identify and test components for new designs. Assist in accelerated life testing program.Analyze field service return data and manage programs for improvement. Qualifications:BS: Bachelors of Science required in Engineering, Industrial Technology or similar field required. In addition to BS/MS, also having an MBA is a plus.Appropriate quality certifications required.Experience strategizing, designing, spearheading and implementing new quality program required.Experience within an electronic manufacturing facility a plus!Minimum 2 years experience managing quality program in mid-sized corporation, including supervising staff of at least 5.Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality related field. Requires significant travel to customer sites, training facilities and seminars.Requires some to significant travel for vendor visits, including Asia. Requires willingness to travel by air, possession of a valid driver's license, passport, and the ability to rent vehicles.
