Senior System Project Engineer - MediaFLO Technologies

Job Description
The MediaFLO Technology enables the multicasting of video, audio and file delivery services to wireless handset devices. The core MediaFLO System is integrated with subscription management, conditional access, billing and network management systems to provide an end to end Mobile TV Service for Operators.

A Senior System Project Engineer will be responsible for leading International customer trials and deployments of the core MediaFLO System.

Coordinating with Business Development, Project Management and Engineering Development teams to understand and deploy a Mobile TV system that meets the customers requirements.

The System Project Engineering team is responsible for deploying the core MediaFLO System, integrating, commissioning and supporting the troubleshooting and debugging of the core MediaFLO System.

This position requires previous hands-on technical experience in trials, deployments and/or demonstrations. The experience can come from either working with wireless terminals, server applications and hardware, operating systems, broadcast infrastructure and/or 3G Radio Access Networks.

Domestic and International travel is required.


Skills/Experience
5 or more years of experience in one of the following industries: Mobile/Wireless Telecomm; Information Technology or Broadcast (MPEG-2) is required.
Working knowledge of LINUX/UNIX and data networks is required.

Ability to present technical information to technology partners and end customers.

An interest in gaining knowledge and expertise in the end to end system.


Additional Skills
Wireless System Integration & testing experience is preferred.

Experience with leading technical teams is preferred.

Knowledge or experience in OFDM, UMTS, & CDMA/EVDO is preferred.

Knowledge in MobileTV Technologies, ISDB-T, DVB-H, DMB is a plus.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred).
