Position Description:
• Develop functional test/verification plans.• Design and implement verification test bench infrastructure and test cases for system, chip and block level verification, using the latest tools and SystemVerilog/OVM.• Functionality includes cores such as ARM CPU's, Ethernet, DMA, PCIe, SATA, USB, SRIO, video/audio codecs, modems, security, and a wide array of peripherals.• Writing reference models, BFMs, transactors, monitors, interfaces, scoreboards, and tests (both directed and constraint random), in SystemVerilog• Create test to drive code-coverage to 100%, and analysis coverage log and adjust constraints to improve coverage• Develop assertion based verification• Develop SystemVerilog interface to C/C++/SystemC model of the design using the DPI (direct programming interface)• Develop hardware/software co-simulation/verification• some RTL-code analysis to help designer debug and test-fail-reports• Assist with the generation and bring-up of test vectors.• Work with system and hardware engineers to port tests to other environments (such as FPGA prototyping systems), silicon bring up, and validation, etc.

Qualifications:
• B.S/M.S/Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering• Minimum 3+ years experience in ASIC RTL verification, worked on at least 3 designs which have gone to production• Strong Verilog, SystemVerilog, PERL, TCL, C/C++, and assembly programming skills• Strong PLI/VPI/DPI skills• Strong system and block level reference modeling skills• Experience with analog/mixed signal simulation AMS• Experience with ncsim/ncverilog simulation tools, Debussy/Verdi waveform analysis tools• Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, and documentation skills• Highly motivated, results driven, well organized, methodical, and detail orient; must be able to look for anomalies,not just say pass or fail• Experience using MATLAB to analyze signal processing algorithms is definitely a plus• Experience with Audio testing desired• Experience working with internal/external teams is highly desirable• Able to work both independently and as a team member
