Shipping, Inventory, and Receiving Supervisor

Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Supervisor Responsibilities: Supervise shipping, receiving and inventory personnel to implemente SEL values and objectives and achieve corporate and department goals. Assign shipping, inventory and receiving duties, establish training needs and oversee training. Supervise the inventory reporting, counting, and reconciliation process Develop, implement, and maintain effective inbound and outbound shipping cost and carrier performance procedures and metrics. Work with manufacturing to develop, implement, and maintain a coordinated scrap reduction effort. Work within established safety and quality standards. Follow and improve materials and receiving area processes. Qualifications: Four-year degree in production planning or related field or equivalent experience. Three years of leadership experience Minimum of five years of production, inventory, or logistics experience in manufacturing environment Excellent communications and leadership skills Advanced computer program skills: Word, Excel, Access, Visio Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in team environment Background check and drug test results satisfactory to SELPreferred Qualifications: APICS Certified An Award Winning Company Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
