Reporting to: Director, Product Engineering - Global Quality

Primary Responsibility:

Facilitate global implementation and improvement of manufacturing processes

Job Scope:Facilitate implementation and improvement of key global Manufacturing process/productsHands-on involvement on yield improvement especially in the area of CZ and Solar silicon crystal Ensure successful process transfer from R&D to Manufacturing and Cross-site Manufacturing processesWork with different functions to ensure expansions of processes/products are defined and follow-up for successful executionWork with each of the MEMC operations to standardize and implement best practices

Interpersonal Skills:Must be able to develop a strong and positive working relationship with MEMC operationsMust have excellent communication skillsMust use a positive approach to quality and process improvement challengesWork effectively with all locations and diverse culturesMust be able to lead and facilitate cross functional teams internationallyResults oriented

Job Related Experience:5+ years experience in silicon crystal growth or related fieldProven record in successful yield improvement and project management related to products and processes Silicon Process Improvement and Manufacturing experience especially in crystal and/or wafering preferredExperience with domestic and international quality and/or manufacturing improvement programsExperience with Quality tools : DOEs, Statistical Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean

Knowledge:Silicon crystal and wafering including CZ and SolarProblem Solving analysis (Six Sigma) with proven results preferredMust have working knowledge of teaming and influencing methods

Education/Experience:Must have a minimum BSE or equivalent work related experience Advanced Graduate Technical Degree desired

Communication:Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:Domestic and international travel required
