Job Title: Silicon Crystal Growth Engineer 

 

Job Type: Direct Hire

Reports to (Title):  Director of Engineering

Compensation Range: Open 

Other Compensation:  401k, bonus program, full benefits, stock buying plan

 

Position Location:  Hillsboro OR

# Positions open:  multiple

Hours of Work:    M-F Days and overtime as needed  

% Travel: some domestic travel (10%) and occasional international travel (5%-10%)

Supervisory Responsibilities:  some supervisory responsibilities can be expected

 

Summary:  Exciting opportunity to enter the exploding Solar Industry.  An international leader in the manufacturing of solar panels is looking for experienced CRYSTAL GROWTH ENGINNERS with specific experience in the Czochralski silicon crystal growing process.  The right candidate will be able to optimize the crystal growing process with respect to yields, quality, productivity and cost. Duties include recipe revisions, equipment upgrades and improvements.  Research/Development and Manufacturing Engineering positions available.  Full Relocation assistance available.  Salary based on experience.

  1. Minimum of 3 years experience in the Czochralski silicon growing process

2. BS in Engineering discipline, Chemistry or Materials Science with crystal growth manufacturing experience

3. MS or PhD in Chem Eng, Materials Science or other related field with research background in silicon crystal growth is also needed
