Site Operational Excellence Leader

Our company is seeking intelligent, creative and dedicated people to join our dynamic team.  We are currently looking for a Site Operational Excellence Leader.

Responsibilities:Work closely with the Director of Operational Excellence and the General Managers to align continuous improvement projects with key business performance indicators. Lead improvement teams utilizing the six sigma methodology and lean techniques, track project schedule, benefits, and other key metrics. Assure effective customer service and relations by implementing processes to deliver quality products on time. Support the Director of Operational Excellence in standardization of processes and training materials as specified in rolling out operational excellence strategy across the LaBarge facilities. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering (ME, IE or EE). Minimum 7 to 15 years experience in manufacturing and materials required. Must be a proven leader and team player with a track record in change management. Strong team builder, mentor and coach. Demonstrated ability to implement new techniques and continuous improvement programs at all levels of manufacturing operations. Minimum 5 years experience with world class manufacturing principles including JIT, Demand Flow, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques. Experienced and certified BlackBelt, Green Beltor Lean Expert, or able to achieve certification within 18 months. Planning and organizational skills: prioritization, resource allocation, multi-tasking. Creative and innovative approach to problem resolution. Facilitation, negotiation, and conflict management skills. Computer skills: Intermediate level in Microsoft Office and Project Management. Ability to write and speak effectively with people at all levels inside and outside the company.
