Member of team designing handset (UE) software for next generation wireless technologies. Will be responsible for implementing L1/L2 technology on prototype platforms. Will be implementing scaleable software using C.

Skills/Experience
Requires extensive experience in design, development, and integration of PHY and MAC layers for wireless base stations, phones, data terminals or modems. Candidate must have strong background in embedded software design on Digital Signal Processors or embedded processors. Must have hands-on experience in implementation of real-time software. Expertise in embedded software design, real-time operating systems, device drivers, and hardware-software interfaces needed. Strong C development skills required. Knowledge of wireless protocols such as UMTS, 1xEVDO, 802.11 is preferred.

Additional Skills
Experience with of object oriented design philosophy, C++, and networking stack (TCP/IP) stack is preferred.
