Software Integration Engineer (All Levels)

Job Description
The Software Integration Engineer is responsible for delivering software suites for WLAN enabled systems such as access points and stations. The Software Integration Engineer contributes to all aspects of the development process including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.

Skills/Experience
Entry level to 10+ years of software development experience (multiple positions depending on experience)
Hands-on experience developing network device drivers in C/C++ for Linux, Windows, and OS X
Experience developing firmware for embedded systems a plus
Understanding of MAC, network, and transport layer protocols (especially 802.11, 802.1D bridging, IP routing, and TCP)
Familiar with code optimization, network security, and system management

Additional Skills
Ability to write makefiles
Prior experience working with or creating BSPs for evaluation boards
In depth understanding of PCI, PCIe, USB, and SDIO
Experience dealing with physical layer calibration
Ability to troubleshoot problems by using debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
Development experience with an RTOS
Knowledge of QoS (especially as it relates to streaming real-time data over a wireless network)

Education Requirements
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
