Position Description:Solution Engineering Project ManagerPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Coordinates all aspects of the Engenio Solution Engineering project(s) having an internal focus from initiation through delivery. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. Solution Engineering products on schedule and within budget constraints. Serves as an in-house project consultant from evaluating needs, designing a project plan and schedule, creating a work breakdown structure, creating a MS Project plan, updating said plans, to planning and directing implementation efforts.KNOWLEDGE: Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has internal and some external contacts.SUPERVISION: Is an acknowledged project leader, both inside and outside his or her department. Is able to solicit and receive support from people outside the department.Can provide project management supervision to senior engineers. Can report progress to plan to upper management. EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience. EDUCATION: 4 year college degree. MS Project training and experience.
