Position Description:

Responsible for program management and all necessary coordination activities for a SoC based solutions for our customer. Coordination activities include but not limited to, VLSI, hardware, boards, firmware, software etc. Responsible for creating solution level schedules, timelines and dependencies leading it to final production. Ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. This position provides complete ownership of customer specific solution delivered by our group requiring coordination of all activities across different functional areas with a clear goal of full system solution for our customers with a focus on first time integration success, on-time delivery with highest quality. Core Competencies• Planning, budgeting, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills • Program Management• Cross-site (& cross-continent) deliverables management and tracking• Clear, concise oral and written communication skills• Understanding of disciplines required to manage a cross-functional team• Motivation and people skills, lead by example in all tasks large and small• Ability to build efficient cross-functional teams and keep the team focused on meeting customer requirements and on task • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and improve processesResponsibilities• Propose, plan, lead, track, and execute Customer specific solution level program which includes individual functional area deliverables (e.g. HW, VLSI, Software etc.) • Create Solution Level schedules using industry standard program management tools • Develop, track, and report out on program budgets, resource plans, status, timing, & cost• Ensure customer requirements, customer satisfaction, program status, profitability & imperatives are communicated to management and the Program Core Team in a clear, concise, & timely manner• Establish and maintain Program Core Team meetings, program tracking and action items lists to ensure program performance deliverables• Act as the key contact between Conexant and the customer to build trust, communicate program status, negotiate, and clarify requirements and expectations between the customer and the product team.

Qualifications:

Qualifications• A minimum of a BSEE or BSCS degree • 6+ years progressively responsible experience including project/program and engineering (hardware, VLSI, Software) management with knowledge of product development design flows from pre-sales to production release• Must possess excellent communication skills; be able to effectively communicate with the design teams, supporting organizations and executive level management• Proficient knowledge and experience in tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word• PMP certification would be plus
