Sr. Analyst, Operations Finance

Amkor Technology is currently looking for a Senior Analyst – Operations Finance to join our Chandler, AZ corporate offices.  This position will support the Analysis and Reporting team in working with our worldwide factories with month-end closing, management reporting activities, and specific business analysis.  This position will assist the Corporate Controller’s organization with closing process requirements.  This position will lead, as well as participate in process improvement efforts.  This position reports to the Manager – Reporting & Analysis.

 

Major responsibilities of this position include:

 

· Reconcile & review consolidation of monthly financial reports from worldwide factories.

· Facilitate product line P&L reporting and reconciliation.

· Communicate effectively with factory finance teams on closing process items.

· Coordinate trend & variance analysis with factories and business units.

· Assist the corporate controller’s organization with month-end closing and reporting processes.

· Support the organization with internal management and external reporting requirements.

· Lead, as well as participate, in process improvement efforts.

· Assist factory organizations with ad-hoc projects and facilitate the resolution of factory finance questions in an effective manner.

· Utilize Hyperion & SAP systems to support world-wide reporting and create recurring and ad-hoc reports.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

 

This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related experience/education.  CPA required.  MBA, CMA, or CFA is a plus. Additionally 2 - 5 years of related experience with accounting principles, GAAP, consolidations, management reporting or equivalent is also required.  A general understanding of operations and manufacturing is a plus.

· Hyperion and SAP software proficiency highly desired.
