Purpose: Working closely with Customer Operations Team in Singapore, this position would be responsible for purchasing and expediting materials for US suppliers to support operational needs, meet customer demands and ensure that inventory is maintained at target levels. This position is on site at the Customer. This fuction wil be responsible for establishing and maintaining good customer relationships. Principle Accountabilities: The Sr. Buyer will: Purchasing material from US Suppliers that will not deal internationally or as assigned based on MRP requirements and within established standards Expediting US Suppliers from critical shortage reports submitted from the sites (Singapore PCBA Sites) Attending CFT meetings and reporting status of shortages Resolving AP Issues as necessary Ensure corrective actions are put in place in the event of supplier issues to improve on quality standards and resolve any claims as necessary Resolve MRB material expeditiously Monitor performance of assigned suppliers Work on assigned projects as defined by team in Singapore or GAM Requirements: BA or Equivalent experience in Materials Organizations Experience with ERP Systems Very good written and verbal English communication Excel, Word and Power Point ability Experience with Virtual Manufacturing ERP System a plus Flextronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer Click here to apply for this job http://flextronics.ats.hrsmart.com/cgi-bin/pm/click.cgi?job_id=9008&site_id=123
