Researches, designs, and develops professional training solutions and specialized learning materials for highly complex technology products or processes and programsParticipates in the development of company education and training strategy.May project manage the development of comprehensive training solutions across the company and business units to support company strategyMay need to satisfy specific technology/ industry recognized certification criteria in order to demonstrate a level of proficiency and professionalism in the industry.May manage the certification process of all external technical trainers that utilize in-house developed course content, ensuring alignment with Ricoh company standardsInfluences and gains sponsorship for implementation of training recommendations. Functions independently, planning own and/or other?s work within the organization or across organizations. Exercises latitude in determining objectives of assignment.Work is rarely reviewed while in progress. Work outcomes are. Influences or makes strategic decisions for education and training that has impact across company.May serve as a team leader and/or direct the work of others on assigned projectsProvide training and guidance to less experienced team membersBroad, in-depth knowledge of company and organization policies, practices and procedures.In-depth knowledge of company products and their applicationIn-depth curriculum development skills for CBT, Web and Classroom applicationIn depth instructional delivery evaluation skillsIn-depth command of adult learning & accelerated learning principles and trends in the industryIn-depth oral and written communication skillsHighly advanced presentation skillsAdvanced PC and associated software skills, networking, InternetAdvanced interpersonal skillsIn-depth understanding of account management processIn-depth knowledge of effective selling skills and strategiesAdditional Responsibilities:Curriculum development or Instructional Design experieince in a technology environment. Prior office automation experience is highly desired. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience8 to 12 years training/curricula development experience.
